Changed your mind. Because each print is made to your specification and clearly personalised, change-of-mind cancellation rights for standard goods — in the UK, the 14-day right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (reg. 28(1)(b)) — do not apply. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are unaffected. This is exactly why the approval step exists: you see the finished artwork, to scale and in your chosen frame, before any money moves.

How is my portrait created?
Upload a photo of your pet and choose a style. In about fifteen seconds you'll see a set of portraits painted from your photo, ready to compare side by side.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. You get three portraits each time, and if none of them are right you can create a fresh set, free. Nothing is printed, and nothing is charged, until you approve the exact image you'll receive.
When do I get charged?
Only once you've approved your portrait and chosen your frame and size. Never before.
Is this AI generated?
We use AI to extract the likeness of your reference photo and combine this with one of our custom in house styles to produce the final artwork.
How long will delivery take?
Your print goes into production the moment you approve it. Our printer quotes 72 hours and then ships tracked. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as it's on its way. Days, not weeks.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free, in the UK and the US alike — it’s included in the price you see. There is nothing added at checkout: the price on this page is the price you pay.
What if I'm not happy with the likeness once it arrives?
Email us with your order number and we'll make you another, free, once. If there's a printing fault or it's damaged in transit we'll reprint or refund in full. What we can't do is refund simply because you've changed your mind about artwork you approved on screen.
What if my print arrives damaged or faulty?
Email hello@printandpane.com with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we'll arrange a repair, reprint or refund.
Can I cancel or return my order if I change my mind?
Because every print is made to order from your own photo, it's exempt from the standard 14-day change-of-mind right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 aren't affected.
